Support Groups
- Alzheimer's Support Group at Holzer Medical Center in Jackson
Alzheimer's Support Group meets in Jackson, usually on the fourth Thursday of the month. Note that the dates may vary from month to month. View our event calendar for up-to-date information on dates and locations.

- Cancer Support Group at Holzer Center for Cancer Care
The Holzer Health Systems Cancer Support meetings are held in Gallipolis on the third Thursday of the month. The Cancer Support Group helps all those with cancer - the patient, family, and friends. Most meetings feature a program and open discussion.
The meetings are held at the Hospital at 6 pm. For more info, call (740) 446-5679.
- Diabetes Support Group at HMC in Gallipolis.
Holzer Medical Center Diabetes Support Group meets on the first Thursday of each month at 4pm in French 500 Room of Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis. For more information call 740-446-5971.
- Hospice Grief Support Meeting
Hospice Support Grief Meeting - in Gallipolis is held every month at the Holzer Center for Cancer Care on the second Thursday at 6pm. In addition, a Support Group is held in Jackson County at the Holzer Assisted Living - Jackson on the third Tuesday at 6pm and in Meigs County at Overbrook Rehabilitation Center on the fourth Thursday at 6pm. - Multiple Sclerosis Support Group
A Support Group for Multiple Sclerosis will meet on the second Monday of each month from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Holzer Medical Center Education & Conference Center Room A. Those who have MS, know of someone who has MS, or those who want to learn more about the disease are encouraged to attend. For more information, call Amber Barnes at (740) 339-0291.
