Fowler Recognized at AMGA National Conference
Todd Fowler, MBA, FACMPE, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Holzer Health System, was recognized at the American Medical Group Association’s (AMGA) National Conference in Orlando, Florida.
Fowler attended the AMGA Chief Administrative Officer/Chief Operating Officer Leadership Council meeting. He served as AMGA Council Chair from July 2020-June 2022 and Past Chair since June 2022. His Past Chair term will end in June 2024.
The Leadership Council is comprised of CAOs and COOs from member healthcare organizations across the United States. Fowler says, “It was an honor to serve the AMGA as CAO/COO Council Chair. I was proud to represent Holzer and our region in such a prestigious role with a great organization.” Pictured from left to right are Katie Dobler (current AMGA Council Chair), Vice President of Salem Health Medical Group, Todd Fowler, and Ryan O’Connor, Chief Operating Officer of AMGA.
The AMGA advances multispecialty medical groups and integrated systems of care as the preeminent model to deliver high performance health care. It was born out of the desire for physicians practicing in groups to improve the quality of patient care by sharing best practices, experiences, and strategies with their peers. Over the years, AMGA has become the primary advocate of group practice, promoting multispecialty medical groups and other organized systems of care as the preferred delivery system for coordinated, patient-centered, efficient, quality medical care in America.
