Holzer Announces Flu Clinics
As temperatures drop and colder months quickly approach, so does “flu” season. To combat Influenza in the surrounding communities, Holzer is hosting multiple community vaccination clinics at several of its Ohio locations beginning October 3, 2016. All clinics will provide injections to individuals 18 years and older.
Influenza (“the flu”) is an infection that affects the respiratory tract. Unlike a cold, the flu can make individuals very ill. The flu, in certain instances, can even lead to pneumonia. It can have serious complications and even be fatal for some people, including older adults, young children, and people with certain chronic conditions.
When planning to attend a vaccine clinic it is important to prepare all insurance information and present identification upon arrival.
