Holzer Celebrity Dinner Successful
The Celebrity Dinner raised over $80,000 and was held at Holzer Medical Center- Gallipolis.
The Holzer Heritage Foundation Celebrity Dinner and Auction was enormously successful, raising over $83,000. This unique fundraising event took place September 21, at the Holzer Health System - Gallipolis Medical Center with a “Holzer Meets Hollywood” theme.
Celebrity waiters who collected “tips” throughout the evening included Angie Arnold, Tara Salyers, Nick and Jennifer Dobbs, Mike Haynes, Jodie Unroe, Shari Rocchi, Angie Rocchi, Jim Morrison, Darren Clark, Nick Roach, Abby Greer, Matt Johnson, Becky Buckley, Beth Cochran, Beth Traylor, Beth Cremeans, Morgan Saunders, Todd and Robin Fowler, Patty Hightower, Tom Moore, Matt Mossberg, Amanda Caldwell, JW Sheets, Shelly Ranegar-Rose, Melissa Davis, Dr. Rodney and Marlene Stout, Shayna Chapman, Jennifer Walker, Stephanie Dixon, Micah Bynum, and Frank Davison. Registration for the event was handled by Shelan Jackson, Emily Conway, and Kathy Brammar. Bartenders for the evening consisted of Stephanie Harbour, Justin Lee, and Julie Burnette.
Following a delicious dinner of steak and lobster, Josh Bodimer graciously volunteered his time as auctioneer of the charity auction, while Melvin Biars served as an auction assistant, “working the crowd.” Together, they produced an enjoyable and entertaining auction, inciting those in attendance into fierce, but friendly bidding wars.
“We are so appreciative of the support we received for our Foundation’s Celebrity Dinner and Auction,” stated Brent Saunders, Chairman, Board of Directors, Holzer Health System. “Through donations, participants, volunteers, and attendees, we were able to raise vital funds for our organization to put back into our healthcare services.”
The planning committee for the event consisted of Shelly Boothe, Audrey Burris, Kim Caldwell, Jennifer Coleman, Karrie Davison, Karen Deel, Angie Edge, Stephanie Harbour, Linda Jeffers-Lester, Holly Petro, Amee Rees, and The Network (an elite group of Holzer leadership and physician spouses). Special thanks was extended to The Colony Club, Holzer Environmental Services and Holzer Nutrition Services for their contributions to make the evening such a wonderful event.
