Holzer Occupational Medicine Open House Held

The Occupational Medicine Offices are located in the Medical Office Building adjacent to the Hospital on Burlington Road

Individuals from many local businesses attended an Open House to learn about services offered at Holzer Occupational Medicine in Jackson, Ohio.

Holzer recently hosted an Occupational Medicine Open House on Thursday, February 22 at Holzer Medical Center – Jackson. The Occupational Medicine Offices are located in the Medical Office Building adjacent to the Hospital on Burlington Road.

The Open House featured information on Holzer Occupational Medicine services, as well as an opportunity to meet the provider Tiffany Rupert, NP, COHP-S and tour the facility. Rupert received her Master of Science in Nursing at Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, Kentucky and completed her undergraduate education at the University of Rio Grande, Rio Grande, Ohio. She is Board Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a Certified Occupational Health Professional – Specialist.

Occupational medicine is the management of health in the workplace, including prevention and treatment of diseases and injuries, as well as working with employers to increase employee safety and wellness. Occupational Medicine providers must have knowledge of potential workplace hazards, be able to evaluate employees’ fitness for work, diagnose and treat occupational disease and injury, and have knowledge of rehabilitation methods, health education, and government laws and regulations concerning workplace health.
