Pediatrician Joins Holzer

Jonathan Mathis, MD, Pediatrics, has recently joined Holzer Health System. Dr. Mathis is accepting patients at our Gallipolis, Jackson, and Pomeroy locations.

Dr. Mathis graduated from Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia and completed his residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. He specializes in general pediatric care with a particular interest in child development and Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD).

“I am very excited to join Holzer Health System, and look forward to providing caring quality pediatric services for the children of our community,” shared Dr. Mathis.

His hobbies include spending time with his wife and two children (four-year-old son and two-year-old daughter), hiking, hunting, reading, listening to all types of music, cooking, and watching college and professional football.
