Massie Named Holzer Senior Care Center Director

Holzer Senior Care Center would like to welcome Robert Massie, LNHA, as the Director of the facility.

Massie is a graduate of Ohio University, with a degree in Health Services Administration, Long Term Care Administration, and holds a Gerontology Certificate. Prior to joining Holzer, Massie was the Administrator for Piketon Nursing Center in Piketon, Ohio.

“I am proud to be a member of the Holzer Senior Care Center family,” shared Massie. “The staff are caring and compassionate, truly delivering person-centered service for our residents. I consider myself fortunate to be a part of the supportive environment that encompasses Holzer Health System and look forward to continued growth in our facility.”

Massie is a native to the area, originally from Oak Hill, Ohio. He and his wife, Cassidy, reside in Rio Grande with their children, Kyle and Cortney.

Holzer Senior Care Center opened in 1995 and is located at 380 Colonial Drive in Bidwell, Ohio, just a short drive from Holzer - Gallipolis.  Holzer Senior Care Center, a 70-bed nursing facility, is an integral part of Holzer Health System and offers a complete range of rehabilitation services conducted by registered therapists. Physical, occupational, and speech therapies are available, with programs designed to meet the needs, tolerance levels, and capabilities of each resident. Holzer Senior Care Center has been providing medical, nursing, and rehabilitation therapies to both short-term and long-term residents since 1995.
