Holzer Post-Acute Care Division to Hold Job Fair

“Coming to Holzer to work is like coming home,” shared Carole Armstrong, Human Resources Generalist for Holzer Post-Acute Care Division. “Holzer is connected to our communities providing vital care services, and I am glad to be able to work in such an important part of our service lines.” Armstrong is responsible for Human Resources functions at Holzer Assisted Living facilities in Jackson and Gallipolis and Holzer Senior Care Center in Bidwell, Ohio.
Armstrong is a graduate of River Valley High School and the University of Rio Grande, with a degree in Communications and Political Science. She joined Holzer in October 2022 and is currently studying to obtain the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) certificate. SHRM promotes the role of HR as a profession and provides education, certification, and networking to its members, while lobbying Congress on issues pertinent to labor management. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her son, Elijah, and extended family and friends.
As one of her first endeavors in her position, Armstrong is coordinating job fair events for the assisted living and nursing home locations. The first of these events will be held on Wednesday, February 15 from 9am to 4pm at Holzer Senior Care Center, 380 Colonial Drive, Bidwell, Ohio. During the event, individuals will be able to tour the facility, apply and interview for positions, and meet the management staff at the location. Individuals who attend and interview for positions will be entered into a door prize drawing.
“We have a variety of positions that will be available for interviewing,” shared Armstrong. “From nursing assistants, LPNs, RNs, dietary, etc., we will have management staff available to meet with anyone interested in a position.”
