Holzer Jeep Run Planned for September 7

Holzer is excited to announce their upcoming second annual Jeep Poker Run fundraiser that will be held Saturday, September 7. All Jeeps, Broncos, and others are welcome to join this special fundraising event.

Jennifer Dewitt, Manager of Emergency and Communication Operations, Holzer Health System, shared important details about the upcoming event, saying, “The Holzer Jeep Poker Run is a family-friendly activity with proceeds donated to Holzer Heritage Foundation to benefit our Holzer in Lights holiday display.”

Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Holzer’s main campus in Gallipolis, Ohio, near the shelter house. Participants will have the option to purchase breakfast and lunch at the event. The ride will start at 9:00 a.m. and conclude around 1:00 p.m. The route is on scenic paved roads with planned stops along the 75-mile trip, which include Gallia Academy High School, River Valley High School, South Gallia High School, and Buckeye Hills Career Center. Registration for the event is $40.00 and includes a t-shirt, swag bag, and playing cards for each entry. You may pre-register online or the day of the event.

The event will conclude with door prizes, raffles, and trophies awarded to entries in categories such as Holzer Jeep Poker Run Committee-favorite Jeep, best modified jeep/sponsor pick, best decorated, and farthest traveled. The Jeep Poker hand winner will win a hitch mounted outdoor portable propane grill valued at over $500.
