Respite Care
Respite Care at Holzer Assisted Living provides short-term opportunities when you need it the most. Sometimes as a caregiver, you need an option to keep your family member safe and sound during times such as vacation plans or other activities.
You, or your loved one, are able to come and stay for a few days or a few weeks, whatever is most convenient.
During respite stay, you or your loved one will be able to enjoy the company of others, home-cooked meals, and receive any healthcare assistance you may need. Pets are welcome in our facilities.
Many have found our respite programs to be of tremendous benefit to them and their loved ones in many of the following situations:
- Those needing a safe, secure place to escape the harsh winter months
- Those needing a recovery period or are otherwise unable to immediately return home following surgery or a hospital stay
- When a family member or caregiver temporarily leaves town for vacation or business
- A break for caregivers
- As a trial stay for someone who wants to simply "try us out," without making any additional commitments
We will provide a furnished suite, and you receive all the benefits that a long term care resident receives. We are always available to discuss our respite services for those who are interested.
